Georgia —Barrow county.
By virtue of an order of the
Court of Ordinary of Barrow county,
granted April Term, 1915, will he
sold at public outcry, before the cour
house door, in said county, on the
first Tuesday in May, 1915, between
the legal hours of sale, the following
described property, to-wit:
A tract of land in said county,
bounded as follows: Beginning at
a stub on the road near John Rut
ledge’s, thence running east to a
stob, thence south to a stob, thence
west to A Perry’s line; thence along
said A. Perry’s line to John Rut
ledge’s line, thence north along said
Rutledge’s line to the beginning cor
ner, containing 32 acres, more or
less, known as the home place of
Mrs. H. M. Edwards, late of this
county, deceased. Sold for the pur
pose of paying the debts of said de
ceased and for distribution among tli
heirs at law. Possession to be giv
en January 1, 1916.

Petitioners desire the right to sue
and be sued, to plead and be implead

including the right to buy, hold and
sell real estate and personal prop
erty suitable to the purposes of the
corporation, and to execute notes and
bonds as evidence of indebtedness in
curred, or which may be incurred, in
the conduct of the affairs of the cor
poration apd to secure the same by
mortgage, security-deed, or other
form of lien, under existing laws.
VII.
They desire for said corporation
he power and authority to apply for
and accept amendments to its char
ter of either form or substance by a
vote cf a majority of its stock out
standing at the time. They also ask
authority for said incorporation to
wind up its affairs, liquidate and dis
continue its business at any time it
may determine to do so by a vote of
two-thirds of its stock outstanding
at the time.
They desire for the said incorpora
tion the right of renewal when and
as provided by the laws of Georgia,
and that it have all such other rights
powers, privileges and immunities as
are incident to like incorporations or
permissible under the laws of Geor
gia.
Wherefore, petitioners pray to be
incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid with the powers, priv
ileges and immunities herein set
forth, and as are now, or may here
after be, allowed a corporation cf
similar character under the laws of
Georgia.

Notice is hereby' given by the
Mayor and Council f the City of
Winder to the qualified voters of
said City that on the 25th day of
May, 1915, an electioi 'll be held at
the City Hall, in said < / of Win

municipality.

($13,0000.00) Dollar being twenty

AN ORDINANCE.
An Ordinance to provide for the
impounding of all dogs that may be
running at large, without muzzles,
and for the disposition of same if
not claimed and muzzled within twen
ty-four hours.
Whereas, there has been an epi
demic of mad-dogs in the City of Wii
der recently, and;
Whereas, the lives of the citizens
of said City of Winder are endanger
ed by dogs being allowed to run at
large in said City of Winder, with
out muzzles;
(a) Therefore, Be It Ordained by
the Mayor and Council of the City
of Winder, and it is hereby ordain-
ed by the authority of the same that
after the passage of this ordinance
it shall be the duty of the Chief of
Police, or any Police of said City
of Winder, to impound any dog run
ning at large in said City of Win
der, unless said dog shall have se
curely fastened on its head, so it
can not bite any person or object, a
muzzle of sufficient strength for said
purpose, and in the event said dog’
is not claimed and removed from
said pound within twenty-four hours
after being impounded, or provided
with a muzzle, the Mayor shall or
der same to be killed or otherwise
disposed of in his discretion, provid
ed that this ordinance shall not apply
to dogs on the private premises of
their owners.
(b) Be it further ordained by the
authority aforesaid that all ordinan
ces in conflict with this ordinance he
and the same are hereby repealed.
