One of the loveliest parties of the
season was that given at the beau
tiful home on Broad street of Mrs.
W. D. Bolton by Miss Ida Lee Ross
and Miss Eva McDonald. As each
guest arrived punch was served, the
punch bowl being decorated with a
beautiful greeu and yellow foliage
and the back ground was artistically
arranged in green. The hostess was
gowned in a beautiful white organdi
empire, Miss McDonald in a lovely
pink satin. Miss Ross in a beautiful
white chiffon over pink satin. The
entire lawn was converted into a
Japaneze garden where a conver
sational programme was carried out
in full. After this the guests went
into the parlor where music was ren
dered to its fullest enjoyment. Added
to this was the hand with all its
sweetest melodies and quartettes fron
the boys. The most interesting fea
ture was an ice course served by
Clyde Bolton and Irene I>ankford. Lit*
tie Fred Ross and Kathleen Bolton
going before them and placing doilies
with each guest. The party was
given in honor of Misses Willie Ca
rithers, Jenne Carter and Julia Cleg
horn, out of town guests .
