I have a number of farms located in different sec
tions of Laurens county, which I am offering for sale.
These farms range in size from four to twenty horse
farms each. They are all well improved and in a high
state of cultivation.
Each one of the faims is located in good communities
and are accessible to schools and churches. They are
also convenient to ginneries. Some have railroads run
ning thru them; others are near railroads or within easy
reach.
These farms will produce anything---corn, oats,
wheat, potatoes, sugar cane, peanuts, chufas, velvet
beans, watermelons, cucumbers, cantaloupes, cabbages,
turnips, lettuce, and will make a bale of cotton to the
acre. In addition to this practically all of them are well
watered and have some pasturage. A more detailed de
ception of these farming tracts are given below.

ZJZ Last year Laurnes county increased its wheat pro
duction over 800 per cent, and while the county has been
for several years leading the other counties of Georgia in
the production of cotton, its farmers are fast getting
away from the one-crop system and are practicing crop
diversification as never before. The possibilities in this
direction are unlimited, along with live-stock raising.
On some of the farming lands listed below as high as 28
bushels of wheat were grown this year without fertilizer
and under unfavorable weather conditions. In 1912
Laurens produced the champion 12-acre corn patch of
the nation, five hundred dollar prize being offered for
any other twelve acres that could beat it.

Dublin, a live and progressive city of 8,000 people, is
the county-site of Laurens. It is situated on the banks
of the Oconee river, on which a line of steamboats ply

school buildings, free-flowing artesian water, paved
streets, sky-scraper office buildings, four railroads, two
big oil mills, an acid-phosphate fertilizer plant, a com
press, hard wood factories, shingle mills and the best citi
ens on earth. The city owns and operates its own elec
tric-lighting plant and furnishes an abundant supply
power for manufactories. All of these farms
are located anywhere from 6 to 15 miles of Dublin.
In this instance you deal direct with the owner and
eliminate the middle man. Will sell on good terms,
the acre any year with a little fertilizer.
