BRYAN AND BILLY SUNDAY.
These two men are more in the
public eye today than any others in
the United States Bryan is Ameri
ca’s most finished orator; Sunday
its most powerful and popular speak
er. Bryan speaks extemporaneously
while Sunday uses copious notes of
ten speaking altogether from manu
script. Dr. A. C. Dixon himself a
great speaker on a recent day heard
them both and said: “Bryan charms
Sunday moves 1 ; Bryan pleases, Sun
day convicis." It must be a rare
treat to hear these men on the
same day.
Unparalleled Offer Made by The
Athens Business College.
On account of so many fake adver
tisements about other business col
lege makes the following proposition:
The College will give a complete and
unlimited scholarship to any one who
can find a graduate of any other bus
; incss college, who can write and
who finished his course within two
months as short a time as it took to
graduate in the Athens FJusintss Col
lege.
Think of it, an offer of S3OO schol
arship to the person who can find
a graduate of any other college who
upon graduation can write and read
his shorthand as rapidly as a grad
uate of the Athens Ebusiness College,
the latter having tw r o months’ less
time for preparation. The College
also agrees to give a S.IOO scholar
ship to the party who can find .■
college that graduates its students in
any course, within two months as
quickly as the Athens Eltsin ess Col
lege and turn out a man who handles
the office work anything like as
good as a graduate of the Athens
Bus'ness College.
Talk is cheap, but when a college
agrees to obligate itseiif under such
unparalleled propositions to prove
its merit, young people should take
notice. There is no other system of
shorthand in existence that can
compare to the system taugh't in the
Athens Business College. It is, in
deed, the stenographic marvel of the
age. Last year we had students fron
six foreign countries, to take advan
tage of our marvelous training. It
people in foreign countries see the
advantage of Byrne Simplified short
hand, and go to the expense of com
ing to this country for the so’-e pur
pose of learning this system of
shorthand, it must be the best.
We have the most practical course
in bookkeeping ever taught in a bus
iness collegee, it is thorough, prac
tical, and up to date in every re
spect. We cannot fill the demand
for our graduates. Think of it, a bus
iness college guaranteeing that a
student can graduate in two months
less time in its college than in. any
other business college and wlho of
fers a reward for any one who can
find a graduate of the collegee out
of employment, who wants work. Ath
ens realizes that has a business* col
lege that cannot be excelled in
the Sou’ll.
Hundreds of young people are be
ginning to realize the thorough prep
aration given in the Athens Business
College, and inquiries continue to
come in from all parts of the coun
try requesting catalogs and. 1 other
information concerning the college.
Have you ever considered taking
a business course. If so, a postal
card or letter wlil bring our latest
catalog to you free of charge and
we will be g’ad to fully explain our
courses of instruction to you. Re
member that you cannot get our sys
tem of shorthand in any other busi
ness college, and that you cannot re
ceive anything like the preparation
giv' n by this college. Expenses are
less and our graduates receive po
sitions that pay the largest salaries.

How About it Georgia Baptists.
It was stated ip Texas a fewi days
ago that the names of Texas postore
wiho had served continuously the

of the really great churches in
Georgia can be counted on the fin

overworked, weakened kidneys. Fo

For Mrs. Dexter.
A happy occasion of last Monday
afternoon was the shower given by
Mrs. G. W. De La Perriere and Mrs.
.1. B. Parham to Mrs. Clara H. Lex
ter, who leaves soon for Woodbury.
Conn. After the guests arrivedi and
many good wishes expressed, they
were invited into the dining room,
where a salad course, with hot choc
olate, was served, and little Harry
ette Segars brought in a large box
filled with many useful and pretty
g’fts, in which Mrs. Dexter’s, favor
ite '’olor, lavender, predominated,
and' presented it to her.
Only the most intimate friends
and neighbors of the honor guest
were invited.
