Mrs. Fulton Jackson was hostess
at a lovely party last week given to
the members of her club.
Beautiful pot plants and cut flow
ers were attractively placed in each
room and carried out the color
scheme of white, green and yellow.
Besides the club members other

Baptist church will give a Salver Tea
next Tuesday evening, February 22,

Among the many pretty parties of
the past week, none were prettier
than the Valentine party given by
Mrs. Robert *Oamp to the Young;
Matrons Club last Thursday after

assembled were adorned with a pro
fusion of lovely red geraniums which
lent a touch of vivid color against a
background of palniß said ferns.
Tiiny cupids strung on ribbons were

peries. Silver candlesticks held red
burning-tapers.
On each table, arranged for the

lovely red blossoms and cut glass

Teachers Entertained.
Mesdames Moore and Sheats enter
tained the teachers of the Winder
Pubilc Schools last Friday evening at
the lovely home of Mrs. Moore on
Biroad street.
The home was beautifully decorat
ed for the occasion and such un
bounded hospitality as only these
splendid hostesses know how to dis
pense was enjoyed by all present.
Lovely music was rendered by Mr.
Cooper throughout the evening, ac
companied on the piano by Mrs. G. H
Fortson, Misses Johnson and Thomas.

sided with grace over the punch
bowl.
