Our Millinery Parlors.
Great Values in Hats
It is with just pride that we say 01 R millinery
parlors. When anyone or anything attains a great
h<*ight in prominence or in satisfaction that one can
produce.it is but natural that a great pride should he
felt.
We have added another feature to this department
which well enable to take advantage of this
great service which we have. We are showing a wide
range of the popular priced models which are copied
from the more expensive hats and made to sell at $2,
$3 and $5. These hats are built along the same stylish
lines as our finer hats and are the latest styles.
We, of course, will continue to carry our large
stock of fine hats as heretofore. We will show a num
ber of new models every day this week.
The New Bust Line
Perhaps no new feature of the late fashion is more
modest than the “new bust line,” a line medium in
heights and close fitting in effect- The proper fitting
of the new gowns alwolutely demands this trim foun
dation.

for both teams. The game will be
called about three o’clock and it is
certain that a large crowd will be on
hand to cheer the home boys on to
victory. We realize that the A. and
M. boys are coming with the best
that they have and will work hard to
carry off the laurels. The price will
likely be 25 and 15 cents.
A CORRECTION.
Some of my opponents are trying
to create the idea that I was the
man who insisted on buying the
Bush property for a court house site.
Now, the truth of the matter is that
I was then and am now opposed to
buying a court house lot anywhere
as the following gentlemen, who
were on the committee, will tell you,
to-wit: A. A. Camp, R. L. Woodruff,
H. D. Miller, J. W. Boyd and H. G.
Hill.
Of course I did not then, neither
do I know now, just what the major
ity of the people of Barrow county
would prefer in this matter, but as
I am a candidate for Ordinary, I
think it nothing but fair that the
voters *nd taxpayers should know
just where I stand.
I did not vote for this proposi
tion, but after the committee recom-
mended the purchase of the Bush lot,
I did make the motion (as the min
utes will show) as follows:
Motion Made by W. T. Robinson:
“If committee does buy said prop
erty, that the county hold the res
idence on said property and the
rental thereof until needed by the
county to build the new court
house on, the county in lieu
thereof to keep the old Bush
house in good repair, also to keep
said house insured for $2500.00”
This is an exact copy of the min
utes. So in order to clear up this
false rumor and let the people know
just where I stood then, and yet
stand, I want the truth known.
That’s all, and I am willing to abide
by the results.
Respectfully yours,
W. T. ROBINSON.
