The Little White Restaurant
We have visited places of wondrous re
pute for feeding you viands delicious
and rare;
We’ve been bowed to by flunkies, have
had them remove our topcoat and
hat as we entered their lair:
We’ve been furnished with fingerbowls,
stylish delay, with silver superflu
ous. solid and good,
But mostly we sneak to a different place
—the little white room where you
pay for mere food!
For mostly at meal time when we would
inhale some yearned-after subste
nance. wholesomely cooked.
The feeding Itself is the thing we require
—we often forget how the eating
place looked.
And how to secure what the stomach
requires without being robbed (to
he afterwards rued)
Is always our problem; and so we seek
out the little white place where
they charge for mere food.
As clean as the soul of a newly-born
babe we always have found the
accouterments there;
The “overhead charges’’—there wasn’t a
sign of that bugaboo that one meets
everywhere!
You pay half the price of the stylish
“caffays” for food just as fine, and
no flunkies intrude—
There’s peace for the soul in the plain
little room—the little white place
where (hey charge for mere food.

A Bilious Attack.
When you have a bilious attack your
liver fails to perform its functions. You
become constipated. The food you eat
ferments in your stomach instead of
digesting. This inflames the stomach
and causes nausea, vomiting and a
terrible headache. Take three of
Chamberlain’s Tablets. They will tone
on your liver, clean out your stomach
■Mid you will soon be as well as ever.
'They only cost a quarter.

When Run-Down
Columbus, Ga.— " For about two
years I suffered and became run
down. I was nervous and would
be so weak I could not get up in
the mornin,"; my back ached all
the time ar ■ so badly that I could
not stoop i- 1 all. I also suffered
with pains in my side. I tried
many medicines but did not get
better. I had gotten U be a

Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription,
and by the time 1 had taken two
bottles I was cured of my ailment

never suffered since with this
trouble.”— Mrs. Anna Middleton,
No. 2944 First Avenue.
Good looks in woman do not
depend upon age, but upon health.
You never see a good-looking
woman who is weak, run-down.
Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescrip
tion is the best women’s tonic
there is. It is 50 years old, and
its age testifies to its goodness.
Reasons!
Why you should use
Cardui, the woman’s
tonic, for your troubles,
have been shewn in
thousands of letters from
actual users of this medi
cine, who speak from
Rersonal experience. If
le results obtained by
other women for so many
years have been so uni
formly good, why not
give Cardui a trial?
