right to establish branch offices
within this State or elsewhere
whenever the holders of a major
ity of the stock may so determine.

The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain to itself or its
shareholders.
4.
The business to be carried on by
the said corporation is that of
operating gins, warehouses, mer
cantile stores and other similar
lines of business, including the
buying and selling of cotton, cot
ton seed, fertilizers, bulls, meals,
buggies, wagons, farm machinery,

he incorporated and make a body
bagging, ties, groceries, foodstuffs
dry goods, and any and all other
lines of merchandise not nerein
specifically enumerated, such as
are usually handled by mercantile
establishments.

The capital stock of said corpo
ration shall he Twelve Thousand
Five Hundred ($12,000.00) Dol
lars, with the privilege of increas
ing the same to a sum not exceed
ing One Hundred Thousand
($100,000.00) Dollars, by a majo
rity vote of the stock-holders,
said stock to be divided into
shares of Twenty-five ($25.00)
Dollars each. The full amount of
the capital to be employed lias
been actually paid in. And peti
tioners desire the right to have
future subscriptions to the capi
tal stock, paid either in money or
in property to be taken at a fair
valuat ion.

Petitioners desire the right to
sue and be sued, to plead and be
impleaded, to have and use a
common seal, to make all neces
sary by-laws and regulations and
to do all other things that my be
necessary for the sueeesswul car
rying on of said business, includ
ing the right to buy, hold and sell
real estate and personal property
suitable to the purposes of the
corporation, and to execute notes
and bonds as evidence of indebt
edness incurred, or w hich may be
incurred, in the conduct, of the
affair of the corporation and to
secure the same by mortgage, se
curity-deed. or other form of lien,
under existing laws.

They desire for said incorpora
tion the power and authority to
apply for and accept amendments
to its charter of either form or
substance by a vote of a majority
of its stock outstanding at the
time. They also ask authority for
said incorporation to wind up its
affairs, liquidate and discontinue
its business at any time it may de
termine to do so by a vote of two
thirds of its stock outstanding at
the time.

They desire for the said incorpo
ration the light of renewal when
and as provided by the laws of
(ieorgia, and that it have all such
other rights, powers, privileges
and immunities as are incident to
like corporations or permissible
under the laws of (leorgia.
Wherefore, Petitioners pray to
he incorporated under the name
and style aforesaid with the po
wers, privileges and immunities
herein set forth, and as are now,
or may hereafter he allowed a
corporation of similar character
under the laws of (leorgia.

Barrow County's cotton crop
will he short this year as compar
ed to last year's crop. Two thirds
of it is already open.
( otton is now bringing over 30
cents, and if it is not rushed on
the market the fanners will yet
receive a fair price to help make
up tor the shortage in production.
