That Old Ninth Grade of Mine.
As I once sat in my chamber,
Trying hard to make a rhyme,
There was one thing in my me
mory,
T’was that old ninetli gratie of
mine.
1 have searched for gold and
silver,
Hut there’s just one thing I find.
When I look for things I love
best,
There’s that old ninetli grade of
mine.
As I look for none by goodness.
People that are good and kind.
There’s a kind grade in that
School House,
Tis’ that old ninetli grade of mine.
No one knows how dear 1 love
them,
As 1 write these little lines,
There is none that 1 love better
than,
That old ninetli grade of mine.
When 1 am so very lonesome.
There are some for whom I pine,
Some that make each life grow
brighter,
In that old ninetli grade of mine.
When l reach the gates of Hea
ven,
And thelights there all will shine,
If I should but look behind me,
Tliere’d be that old ninetli grade
of mine.—Sarah Joe Roberts.

WILL SOW WHEAT.
From interviews with farmers
in different parts of our country
it is gratifying to learn that most
every one will sow some wheat.
Many have already sown and
we urge every farmer who possi
bly can to not neglect this impor
tant matter.
Prepare a few acres well and
get your wheat in while the weath
er is favorable; you will not regret
having done so next summer when
you see others making their own
wheat instead of buying flour.
