The young people of Auburn
enjoyed a picnic at Reaves’ mill on
last Wednesday. They report a
delightful time. Mrs. Brookshire

A happy occasion of last week
was Thursday afternoon when Airs
j. F. Broome delightfully enter
tained the Junior Priscilla Sewing
club. As the guests arrived they
were served with punch and after
a jolly hour spent in sewing a most
delicious salad course was served.

grows worse and that he is now
confined to his room all the time.

Union Sunday.
Rev. \V. T. Evans will preach at
Union church next Sunday, Sept.

a fine young minister and it is to
he hoped that all who ean will at
