ty, having applied to me for leave to
sell the lands belonging to the estate of
Mrs. M. A. Smith this is, therefore, to
notify all parties at interest to show
cause before me, if any they can, on the
first Monday in October 1920, why the
application should not lie granted.

on the lirst Monday in September, 11*20,
will be sold at public outcry on the first
Tuesday in October, 1920, at the court
house door in said county, between the

cel of land lying and being in the coun

described as follows: Commencing at a
cherry tree corner on Hog Mountain

running thence N. E. on a straight line

ris’ line, thence to a rock corner on
Wiley Cross’s line; thence on% straight
line 8. W. Wiley Cross’s line to a point
on Hog Mountain Road; thence along
said road S. K. to n rock corner on I’, 11.
Smith’s line; thence S. W. along I’. It.
Smith's line 10.73 chains to ft rock cor
ner; thence X. W. along Sis Thomas’
line 26.85 chains to n rock corner;
thence X. E. along G. W. Smith’s line
20.43 chains to n Post Oak on Hog Moun
tain road; thence S. W. along said road
to beginning corner containing fifty
threo (53.54) and 34 100 acres, more or

milk for anaemic Greek babies, car

gifts that young Americans are send
ing to the war-crushed children of the
Old World.
Through the Junior lied Cross the
boys and girls of the United States
are giving a fresh start In life to little
war orphans scattered all over Europe.
They have set up orphans' homes In
France, school colonies In Belgium and
Montenegro, and day schools In Al
bania.
They are sending dozens of young
Syrians, Montenegrins, and Albanians
to American colleges In Constantinople
and Beirut, and maintaining more than
a hundred orphans of French soldiers
at colleges and trade schools. In or
phanages and farm schools up nnd
down the peninsula of Italy there are
nearly sih) wards of American Juniors.
Last winter a thousand French chil
dren from the lnadequaie shelters of
the devasted regions were sent by Uie
Junior lied Cross to spend the cold
months In warmer parts of France.
At the same time five thousand little
Belgians were having a hot lunch every
day at Junior Bed Cross school can
teens
American school children have al
ready raised something like a million
dollars for these enterprises, and they
are still hard at work.
In China, through campaigns of efl
ueatlon, the Junior Red Cross Is help
ing to combat widely prevalent blind
ness and cholera.
