elected officers for the coming year
as follows:

The Legion lias ordered JOO
blotters to he distributed among
hoys of the two schools in town;
these blotters depict the evils of
cigarette smoking to the hoy and
growing youth. It is hoped that
while the hoys are struggling with
~,0 vexations of multiplication,
long division, tractions and per
cent 11 go they will use those blotteis
and receive good lessons thereby.

Roberts lately received a letter
from her, written in French, which
is translated below and should
