VOLUME 26. Unsurpassed Tailoring WE have told you that the clothes we got for our Fall stock will fit better than any ready-to-wear suits and over coats which have been manufactured in this country heretofore. We have told you that the styles--Eastern styles-- Mi in Every Detail 111 lie WEST Dietates of FfilßH. Now we want to say a word about the tailoring and workmanship in the garments that are here in the store for you to inspect and try on and buy, if you like them. There is no getting away from the fact that some men can do things better than others can do them. T his is just as true of making clothes as it is of playing baseball, or football, or billiards, or making watches, or battleships, or needles, or anything else. When we went into the market this Fall to buy clothes, we went in determined to get garments that were made by the most skillful cutters and tailors in the country; We did it. There isn’t any doubt about it; there are no ‘IF’S’ or ‘BUT’S.’ We examined all the notable lines of clothing that were offered for sale. We look at the clothes inside and out. We cut them to pieces and studied the construction of shoulders and collars and lapels; studied the making of the fronts of coats and all the different parts of vests and trousers. We give you our word for it and we will bank our reputation on the assertion that the clothes we bought will fit better, that theywil keep their shape longer, that their wear will be more durable and more satisfactory than any line of mens and youth’s suits and overcoats 1 1 1 l contains the best workmanship in any ready-to-wear clothes offered forsale this Fall.
