Little Marion McCord came

Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Avery of
Newton county, were the guests
Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. A. F.
McMahon.
Mrs. Ben Watkins and her
aunt, Mrs. Williamson, are spend
ing this week at Warm Springs
with relatives.
The frieds of Mrs. R. S. Brown
and Miss Julia will be glad to
know that they will visit Jackson
in the near future.
Miss Maggie Hanna left for
her home in Jasper, Florida, Fri
day, after a visit of two weeks to
her brother’s family.

Mrs. Heflin and Miss Eva Sass
nett will leave Saturday for a visit
to Mrs. Oscar Crittendon and
Mr. Willie Land in Shellman.
Mrs. Heflin will go to Sparta
from there.

Mrs. J. W. Crum entertained
delightfully Saturday afternoon
at a salmagundi party in honor
of her Sunday school class. The
young people enjoyed many
games until a late hour. Ices and
cakes were served.
