Mrs. J. C. Meredith spent Sat
urday and Sunday in Griffin with
her daughter, Mrs. Patrick.
Mr. Joe Malone, of Babcock,
has been visiting the family of
Dr. Jarrell for several days.
Prof. L. D. Watson, of Raleigh,
N. C., is expected to spend the
month of August in Jackson.
Victor Carmichael, who has
been at the University the past
year, came home Wednesday.
Rev. Elam Dempsey and wife
are spending a few days with the

Miss Lillian Harkness, who has
been teaching at Pelham, return
ed home Friday for a vacation.

here several days with friends

Rev. S. P. Wiggins will leave
Monday for the session of the
Griffin district Conference, which
meets at Thomaston. He will go
from there to the Epworth League
Conference which meets in Atlan
ta on Thursday June 25.
