Wat son was taken violently ill Thurs day evening and died Friday afternoon. The remains were carried to Flovilla Sarurday af ternoon. Rey. Van Deventer con ducted the funeral services at the Flovilla Baptist church and the interment was at the Flovilla cemetery. The many friends of the family extend condolence. Mrs. J. W. McCord and Mrs. Joseph Jolly spent last Tuesday in the country with the family of W. D. Jolly. Mr and Mrs John McCullough of Flippen Ga., visited their son last week and took in the show. Mrs. A. H. Smith and Dr. Faanklin and his wife spent Sunday in Forsyth with Mr. Olin Smith. Mrs, Long and Mrs. Williams of Jewel, Ga., came Sunday to spend a few days with their niece, Mrs. C. B. Gunn. Mrs. M. E. Gunn left Friday to visit her son in Atlanta, Rev. J. R. Gunn, and attend the Georgia Baptist convention. Mr. J. C. Jones has moved into his handsome residence on In dian Spring street. Mrs. Minnie Glover and Mrs. Dr. Glover of Flovilla came Sun day to spend the week with Mrs Laura Giles. Misses Zelma Wflson aud Nelle Cole spent the week-end with Miss Pearl Maddoq.
