UGH! CALOMEL MAKES
YOU DEATHLY SICK
Stop Using Dangerous
Drug Before It Salivates
You! It’s Horrible!
You’re bilious, sluggish, consti
pated and believe you need vile,
dangerous calomel to start your
liver and clean your bowels.
Here’s my guarantee! Ask your
druggist for aSO cent bottle of
Dodson’s Liver Tone and take a
spoonful tonight. If it doesn’t
start your liver and straighten
you right up better than calomel
and without griping or making
you sick I want you to go back to
the store and get your money.
Take calomel today and tomor
row you will feel weak and sick
and nauseated. Don’t lose a day’s
work. Take a spoonful of harm
less, vegetable Dodson’s Liver
Tone tonight and wake up feeling
great. It’s perfectly harmless,
so give it to your children any
time. It can’t salivate, so let
them eat anything afterwards, ad

Jenkinsburg School Notes
Our new year opened with an
enrollment of 181 pupils the first
week, all of whom seemed to be
glad to be back in school and
willing to work.
There is a story of two charac
ters, Care and Heedless, who
were shipwrecked and cast on
an island, where they were told
they must build, whether or no.
All kinds of building materials
were to be had. Coarse mate
rials were near at hand, better
at a little distance. A grand
prize was offered for the best and
most beautiful building. Heed
less at once began with the ma
terials nearest at hand, while
Care painstakingly sought the
best. When the day came on
which the prize was to be award
ed, Care, whose building stood
splendidly wrought received the
prize. It is so with us. Cast by
the sea of life into this world, we
are forced to build. Long
fellow tells us that “our todays
and yesterdays” are the mate
rials that will go into our build
ing. We are hoping that the
work done during this term of
school may be the means of en
enabling each boy and girl to
build a noble character. The re
ward is to the one who is willing
to strive to make each day wor
thy to occupy a place in the
building.
Shirley Steele has the honor of
making an average of 100 per
