Let no opportunity pass to get in a word for Butts county’s claim to the Dixie highway. Macon had better look to her laurels, for Jackson is going to have one good fair this fall. You want to get in behind the Butts county fair good and strong and help to make it a winner. Three days fair and big trade week for Butts county this fall. Spread the news, Mr. Booster. Macon’s fleet of schooners in and off the bar ought to keep the submarines out of the Ocmulgee. Would the sweet girl graduate by any other name be as fra grant? Hey, Fellow Blood worth? “America f"r Americans” is no bad slogan. It may become famous during the next few months. Crisp, concise and straight to the point. We're so all-fired pro-American that we are trying to purge our system of the smatteriug of “deutsche” we absorbed a few years back. It is nothing short of marvelous what results have been accomplished since then in good road building. Today the roads in Butts county are far better than any of the surround ing counties.
