CALOMEL SALIVATES
AND MAKES YOU SICK
Adts like dynamite on a
Sluggish liver and you
lose a day's work
There's no reason why a per
son should take sickening, saliva
ting calomel when 50 cents buys
a large bottle of Dodson's Liver
Tone —a perfect substitute for
calomel.
It is a pleasant, vegetable li
quid which will start your liver
just as surely as calomel, but it
doesn't make you sick and can
not salivate.
Children and grown folks can
take Dodson's Liver Tone, be
cause it is perfectly harmless.
Calomel is a dangerous drug.
It is mercury and attacks your
bones. Take a dose of nasty cal
omel today and you will feel
weak, sick and nauseated tomor
row. Don't lose a day’s work.
Take a spoonful of Dodson’s Liv
er Tone instead and you will wake
up feeling great. No more bil
iousness. constipation, sluggish
ness, headache, coated tongue or
sour stomach. Your druggist
says if you don’t find Dodson’s
Liver Tone acts better than hor
rible calomel your money is wait
ing for you. ad.

MR. W. B. HODGES RECENTLY
KILLED A MONSTER HAWK
One of the largest chicken
hawks ever slain in this section
was killed by Mr. W. B. Hodges
a few days ago. From tip to tip
the giant bird measured 50 1-2
inches, and the talons, back to
front, measured 5 inches, the
rear claw nail alone being 1 5-8
inches. The hawk almost had
the proportions of an eagle. It
was an old offender against the
barnyard fowls, having just cap
tured a chicken when Mr. Hodges
stopped its marauding career.

Mr. Harry J. Miller,
Manager Jackson Coca-Cola Bottling Cos.,
Jackson, Ga.
Dear Sir*.-
On the several reports of our various inspectors
regarding the conduct of the business and conditions of
your plant we feel that it is due you to commend your
good management.
In addition to these reports, very favorable and
satisfactory, the writer recently made a personal in
spection with gratifying results, and want to say we
have found none of our many plants that can excel yours
from a sanitary standpoint or in quality of goods.
We find in your statements too a very satisfactory
increase in the business, which increase however shows
entirely in your sales of Coca-Cola.
We analyze this to mean that you have secured a
greater number of Coca-Cola dealers, or,that the people
are learning the superior quality of Coca-Cola as a
soft drink.
We congratulate you both as to conditions and ser
vice you are giving your trade, and trust you will con
tinue both.
Yours truly,
A. MONTGOMERY,
General Manager.
