BIG COTTON FACTORY.
The cards are being shuffled to
wards building a hundred thousand
dollar cotton factory in Jackson,

Capr. W. F. Smith, the indefati -

county resources, is having a rail
road surveyed from a point just
above town to tb%Cedar Rock hills
three miles north ol Jackson. We
learn that some large capitalists are
at the hack of the scheme and that
the prospects aie very favoiable tor
a large quarry to be opened there in
a short time. This granite is noted
for and near as being very fine and
we would be highly pleased to see it
