A PLEASANT EVENING. A most pleasant evening was spent at Mr. C. G. Driver's on Third street on Friday 12th List. Mr, Diiver and his most estima ble iady are always ready to make the young people happy and their hospitable home is often thrown open for an evening's pleasure for their beautiful sister, Miss Tusie Caldwell, and her hosts of lriends and admirers and the evening named eclipsed anything of the knd of previous occasions. Miss Tusie as a hostess, has but few superiors for one ot “sweet sixteen'’ and on this evening seemed more beautiful than ever in a robe very becoming both to herself and the occasion. She recieved her guests in a man> ner that would have done credit to the wife of a governor. The evening was spent in the usual style of social converse and in the enjoyment of a few innocent games till 10:30 when all were in vited into the spacious dining hail where the most delicious refresh ments were served. It was indeed a most enjoyable evening for all present who will of-.en look back to it as a green spot in meccorys al bum. Those present were: Miss Mary Duke, Geo.
