announcement of the marriage of
Miss Eileen Lanier and Dr. Cleve

Rev. R. L. Bolton performed the
ceremony, which was witnessed
only by the immediate family.
The marriage, which was sched
uled to take place Wednesday
morning at the Baptist church, was
to have been a more elaborate af
fair, but on account of the very
sudden and sad death of the bride’s
brother, Ellis Lanier, Thursday
evening, this was abandoned and it
was decided to have the ceremony
at once, and quiet.
