STOMACH TROUBLE
FOR FIVE YEARS
Majority of Friends Thought Mr.

Pomeroyton, Ky.—ln interesting ad

.stomach trouble for five (5) years, and
would have sick headache so bad, at

MISTAKEN lOENTITY
CAUSES SCARE
Atlanta, Ga., Aug, 28., —Be-
lieving they saw a dead man walk
ing along the street, friends and
neighbors ofj. B. Mathis of this
city, fled shrieking in terror when
he appeared to them. When he
tried to approach his own cousin,
thelatter fell fainting to the ground.
Such a true ghost story Atlanta
hasn’t had in twenty years.
J. B. Mathis is a popular travel
ing man who comes to Atlauta
about once a month. Three or four
days ago the daily newspapers car
ried the announcement that J. B.
Mathis of Atlanta was dead. His
friends mourned. Then the notice
of the funeral occurred.
Then, oueeveniug abouttwilight,
neighbors sitting oif their porches
along the block on Pryor street on
which Mr. Mathis boarded, saw a
familiar figure apppoaching from
the direction of the railroad station.
“My God, it’s Mathis!” whisper
ed somebody, and a general panic
i followed. The explanation was
simple enough. There were two
J. B. Mathises in Atlan.a. and it
I was the other man who had died.
