Arthur Bankston and John Moss, of Atlanta, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Bankston Sunday. . Mrs. W. T. Thurston is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Homer Man ning, in Griffin this week. Miss Ethel Colvin, of Jackson, spent last week with her aunt, Mrs. J. W. Childs. Miss Agnes Strickland, of At lanta, visited relatives here last week. Mrs. Rob Woodward spent Mon day in Jackson. Mr. Grover Harris, of Macon, is visiting Mr. Tom Harris this week. Mr. and Mrs. Riley Elder have returned to Macon after a pleas ant visit to home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Jim White, of Atlanta, spent the week-end with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Woodward, of Forsyth, visited Mrs. J. A. Mid dlebrooks last week. Messrs. Grover and Chester Harris spent Sunday in Milledge ville. Master R. W. Woodward en tertained his little friends delight fully Monday afternoon, it being his sixth birthday. Misses Jewell Glass and Car rilu Harper honored the younger set with a party Saturday after noon, the day beingtheir fifteenth and sixteenth anniversary. Af ter several games were played an interesting contest followed. The prize was won by Miss Sallie Ruth Thurston and Mr. Frank Childs. Delicious ices and na biscos were served on the porch.
