FIRST NATIONAL
IMPROVES HOME
Few Front Is Among The
Repairs
ANOTHER"VAULT ADDED
Building Will Present An
Attractive Appearance
When Contractors Are
Through With Work
Substantial improvements that
involve the remodeling of almost
the whole building are being
made to the First National Bank.
The entire front is being re
modeled and will be made much
more attractive. The vault will
be extended several feet and an
other story added to the vault,
making it a double decker. The
entire interior will be worked
over, rearranged and new fixtures
installed.
These improvements when
completed will add greatly to the
appearance of the building and
will give the First National one
of the most attractive and com
modious homes to be found any
where. The greater convenient
ces that will be secured through
the Igxpfovements will be appre
ciated by the officials and cus
tomers of the bank. This act of
the First National, which is the
oldest national bank in this sec
tion, is a progressive step.
The work is being done by Mr.
J. B. Quartermus, of Westmin
ster, S. C., who is well known
locally through his work on the
First Baptist church.
