The following criminal cases were disposed of: Tom King- pointing gun at an other, $75 or 12 months. Zollie Head, assault to murder, guilty with recommendation, S6O or 12 months. Jim Price, assault to murder, three years. JENKINSBURG Miss Minnie Gray is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Welch, in Mc- Donough. Miss Mollie Morse spent a few days this week in Barnesville. Misses Claude Guest and Car rilu Harper spent a few days in Jackson last week. Mrs. 0. S. Steel, of Atlanta, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Philips, this week. Mr. Riley Elder has returned home after a pleasant visit to relatives here. Mr. J. E. White, of Atlanta, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs, S. D. Thurston. Miss Irene Bankston had as her guests Sunday Misses Bessie Sowell and Narene Elliott and Mr. Bose Elliott, of McDonough, and Miss Ruth Middlebrooks and Mr. Chester Harris. Miss Annireid Harper, of Jack son, spent a few days this week with her cousin, Miss Carrilu Harper. Mr. Jim Bowden visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Bowden, Sunday. Misses Carrilu Harper and Lois Saunders left Tuesday for Mil ledgeville and Miss Ruth Mid dlebrooks for Wesleyan, where they attend school. Miss Annice Barnes, of Flovil la, is visiting her aunt, Mrs. B. F. Whitaker. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sowell, of McDonough, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Bankston. Mrs. Joe Caston, of Jackson, visited Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Thurs ton Sunday. Mrs. Laura Thornton has re turned home after several weeks visit in Jackson. Mr. Harry Blitch is,here for a month to relieve Mr. J. A. Mid dlebroqks , who works for the Southern Railway. Mr. and Mrs. Blitch are boarding with Mr. and Mrs. 0. S. Duke.
