Mrs. Annie Moss and Mrs. Davis spent Thursday afternoon with Mrs. A. A. Goodrum. The school at Union Ridge is progressing finely, with Miss Flore McCord as teacher. There will be services at Union Ridge Sunday morning at 11:30 and everybody is invited. After many games was played ice cream was served and to represent her birth flower, goldenrods were used as decorations. From her friends she received many pretty gifts. * Miss Laurette Smith and Mrs. Charles Smith spent last week with relatives at College Park. . Miss Rosebud Waits .went to Jackson Monday shopping. Several from here attended services at Cabiness church Sun day morning. Misses Mabell and Edith Smith left the 17 for school, the former going to Athens State Normal, the latter to Lanier High School in Macon.
