How many floats will you place in that parade the first day of the fair. When you pay the other fellow smile and he’ll smile back at you. Try it. Smile and pay up and the other fellow will smile and write you a receipt. A few funerals and some loyal boosters will accomplish wonders for any community. Greet the boll weevil with hog and hominy. The varmint can’t eat anything but cotton. The State Fair in Macon this year will be the best ever, the reports say. All Georgia will be there. The war gets worse and bigger all the time. Better plan for plenty of hog and hominy and live at home. Tom Loyless admits he is 46 years old. Then he is old enough to know better than to continue to stir a rotten thing. The Dawson News is thirty three years old. It is safe, clean and wholesome. The state needs more editors of the Rainey type. The Nashville Herald thinks Governor Harris walked the extra session lor without falling in. But the session isn’t over yet. Times are better. Every Jack son citizen should boost as he has never boosted befoe. Let’s keep pushing Jackson—The Pow er City. It will be a revelation to many when they see the pure-bred live stock at the Butts County Fair. Butts county citizens are raising more and better live stock. One of the representatives from Floyd county will propose a dispensary system for Georgia at the extra session of the legisla ture. Michigan, Wisconsin, lowa .and Minnesota show heavy decreases; while Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebras ka and Kentucky are among the states reporting large increases.
