BUTTS GINNED 4,098 BALES This is Below Last Year’s Figures 715,367 FOR THE STATE Report of Ginnings in The Twelve Counties in The Sixth to Sep tember Twenty-Fifth According to the report of the Census Bureau, Butts county had ginned 4,098 bales of cotton prior to Sept. 25. This is compared with 4,441 bales the same date a year ago. The total for the state is 715,- 367 bales, as against 768.095 in 1914. ETHERIDGE Who has served as presideut of the Butts County Fair Association for the past two years and done much to sup ply the sinews of war, the interest and the entnusiasm. during the Butts County Fair will be of interest to the people of the community. The band consists of thirteen pieces and is said to be one of the best in the state. The boys com posing the band will come over Tuesday in automobiles and wiil march in the parade at 10:30. There is no question but that good music will prove one of the most attractive features of the entire fair. The Gordon Institute musicians will spend all of Tuesday in Jack son and they will probably be ac companied here by several mem bers of the faculty and other cit izens of Barnesviile. The Butts County Fair will be an educational fair. Don’t forget the uates—Oc tober 19 22—four big days.
