It was an awkward question for a
doctor to put to a soldier.
“Colonel,” he said, “how do you feel
when you kill anybody?”
“Oh, pretty well,” said the colonel.
“How do you?”—Exchange.

STATE SANITARIUM BEIN6
INVESTIGATED THIS WEEK
Atlanta, Ga., July 18.—The
National Committee for Mental
Hygiene will make a survey of
Georgia’s State Sanitarium for
the Insane at Milledgeville. The
survey will be similar in character
to surveys of insane asylums made
by the committee in other states.
The committee’s investigation
is to be made at the request of
the trustees of the Georgia asy
lum. It will apply to every de
partment of the institution. The
legislature now has the sanitar
ium subject under consideration.
It is perhaps unfortunate that
this survey has not already been
made by this entirely impartial
and trustworthy organization.
The asylum is overcrowded,
needs more buildings, and most
of all, needs a change in its rules,
says the trustees, that will stop
making it a ‘‘dumping ground”
for criminals, epileptics, feeble
minded minors and others who
are not insane. It in generally
believed that the legislature will
You Need a Tonic

gently, yet surely, on the weakened womanly organs,
and helps build them back to strength and health.
It has benefited thousands and thousands of weak,
ailing women in its past half century of wonderful
success, and it will do the same for you.
