MRS.E.E. HAMILTON GAINED 18 POUNDS Was in Wretched Health Before Taking Tanlac, and Fell Off Until She Was Almost a Living Skeleton “If you had seen me before I began taking Tanlae you would not believe it was the same person talking to you now,” said Mrs. Emma E. Hamilton, one of the best known residents of Ens ley, Ala., in telling of the re markable results obtained from the use of Tanlac, the medicine that is accomplishing such won derful results in the south. “Just think of it!” continued Mrs. Hamilton, I have gained eighteen pounds since I began taking the medicine, and I have only taken two bottles. “I suffered from a nervous breakdown, and for nineteen months have been in wretched health, I had no appetite and the little I ate did more harm than good, and my sleep was very poor. I was so weak and felt so miserable that it would some times take me from breakfast until supper to get my house work finished, for I would have to stop every few minutes and rest. I was too played-out to keep on the go. I took all kinds of treatment, but nothing did me any good, and I just kept getting worse all the time. It seemed like I was losing strength every day, and I lost weight un til I was almost a living skeleton. “My husband begged me <o try Tanlac, and just to please him I bought a bottle. I have just taken my second bottle, and I tell you I wouldn’t take five hundred dollars for the good it has done me. It strengthened me up right from the start, gave me a good appetite, and every thing I eat agrees with me per fectly, and I sleep fine. As I have already said, I have gained eighteen pounds, and I believe I am the happiest woman in town and I believe I have a right to be. I feel simply fine in every way. “Mv friends are asking me what I have been doing to my self to look so much better, and of course, I tell them that Tan lac is responsible. I believe it is the best medicine ever sold over a drug store counter. “Yes. sir, you are perfectly welcomed to use my statement in the papers, and lam only too glad to be able to let the people know what this wonderful medi cine will do for the sick. I be lieve anyone in the shape I was in will find entire relief with Tanlac.” Tanlac is sold bv Slaton Drug Cos., in Jackson, and Dr. A. F. White in Flovilla, Moore & Cos., at Cork, J. E. & W. R. Oct. 15, was pulled off the biggest singing of the year at Sandy Creek church. In a grove of ten acres there was a horse or mule tied to every tree and automobiles in profusion. The music was out of the old Sa cred Harp Harp book. There were some of the best singers in the state there. Judge Preston, of Flovilla, was chairman and mas ter of ceremonies. Col. Joe James of Douglassville was there. Ev erybody knows Joe James; twen ty-five years ago he was the worst hated man in the state by the Populist party, but today he is the best loved by all parties. He is well up on music; he led some of the old time melodies and made a talk on music. He said the book of Job was the ol dest book in the Bible, for, said he, when Job said blot out the day I was born, God said, “Job, where wast thou when I made the four corners of the earth? Where wast thou when the morn ing stars sang together?” He said the world was created in music, for the chirp of every fowl of the air, the croak of ev ery frog in the brook was a praise to the goodness of God. The squall of the eagle as she plumes her pinions for a lofty flight to her nest on the mountain crag was a gladsome note in the praise of God; and the sun as he whis pers through the heavens denotes His handiwork, and even the lit tle streamlet that babbles from its bed of icy granite and whis pers through mossy banks and forms creeks and rivers in their murmur to the sea, sings an elo quent song to our Creator. And so, long may Joe James live to bless the world and all mankind.
