Our Furniture Department Up Stairs At New York Store The largest and best stock of all kinds of Furniture, Springs, Mattresses, Pillows, Blan kets Comforts, Rugs, Trunks, Bags, Crockery, Glassware, Hardware, etc., in Middle Georgia Early this year we put in this line and the was bought before the ad vance. Every piece is new and fresh sftock. Another fadt is that it does not cosft us anything to run this department—because we had the room, salesman and all this ex pense before. So there is nothing added to our Furniture for expenses. We save you all this and sell you goods like we do in all other departments at Department Store pri ces and you know what that means. From now until Xmas we will make prices that were never heard of before in Jackson. Come see for yourself. TO THE PUBLIC We want to say in advance that this store will open Dec. Ist a line of Holiday Goods as usual and our suggestion this time more than any other is early buying because when once sold out no more goods to be had. merchants will do well to look over, stock up and catch their share of Xmas money. This Store has the goods and appreciates your trade. Etheridge! Smith & (Vs Furniture Dept. A TIMELY SUGGESTION CONCERNING COTTON GOODS We wish to say that we were right in advising our cus tomers early in the fall to buy their Cotton Goods— which they did and made a substantial saving. We now want to suggest that our trade buy for spring at present prices cotton goods because they are due to be much higher in 1917. Scarce and hard to get at any price. ETHERIDGE, SMITH & CO.
