Dorsey is au thority for the statement that he will not take an active stand for any of the candidates in the senatorial race. A dispacth was sent out from Atlan ta that he would favor W. J. Harris, but this Gov. Dorsey denies. Candi date J. R. Cooper and Emmett Shaw were college mates of Governor Dor sey and both took the stump for him in his race for governor. He will not use his office as governor to bolster up the candidacy of any man, accord ing to a letter just made public. No official announcement has been made as to when the call will be made for white registrants. It was also stated that the district board has not yet returned all the names of local registrants.
