Rev. and Mrs. Olin King were over from Forsyth Monday. Mrs. P. C. Hawkins has returned to her home in Forsyth. Mrs. Carrie Dupree Smith is spend ing the week in Atlanta. David Settle was up from Camp Wheeler part of the week. Mr. A. J. Biles, of Sycamore, was a visitor here the past week. Mrs. Hugh Mallet spent several days of the week in Atlanta. Mrs. M. O. Faulkner is visiting Mrs. Mollie Pope for several days. Mrs. A. L. Bickers has returned from a delightful trip to Florida. Miss Annie Nolen, of McDonough, visited Mrs. Vtma Wright, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. W. 0. Perritt were over from Forsyth for the week-end. Friends of Col. John W. Moore, of Atlanta, will regret to learn of his ill ness. Col. J. T. Moore has been in Atlan ta for treatment for the past several days. Miss Lydie King, of Forsyth, spent the week-end with Miss Elizabeth Currie. Miss Elsie Curry has been away from school this week on account of illness. Mrs. J. M. Currie, president of the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist church is in New nan attending the annual state meet ing of these societies. Miss Dorcas Greer, of Atlanta will spend Sunday with her sister, Mrs. J. F. Chambless. Mr. Opal Chambless, of Hannon, Ala., visited his brother, Mr. J. F. Chambless, Sunday. Mrs. Horace O’Neal has returned from a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Tompkins. Miss Annie Righton Miller, of Ilawkinsville, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. M. Crawford. Mrs. Walter Meade Crawford and Miss Annie Righton Miller spent part of the week in Atlanta. Miss Jessie Wiggins and Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Etheridge motored to Eat onton to spend Sunday. Professor Troy Compton, of Fort Valley, motored to Jackson for the week-end with relatives. Mr. Ned McCord spent several days of the past week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. R. McCord. The friends of Mr. J. G. Maddox regret to learn of his illness, and hope to see him out again soon. Mr. S. K. Smith spent last week in Macon where he served as a member of the United States grand jury. Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Franklin and two sons, Robert and Hiram, spent Sunday in Bamesville with relatives. Dr. and Mrs. Linton Hopkins and small daughter, of Atlanta, spent Sun day with Dr. and Mrs. J. B. Hopkins. Mr. T. W. Moore was a recent vis itor to Athens to visit his son, Harry, who is a student at the University of Georgia. Mr. F. R. Jones and mother, Mrs. M. E. Jones, of Macon, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hencely. Mr. T. N. McKibben, district man ager for the New England Life Insur ance Cos., spent several days of the week here. Mr. and Mrs. Raz Stroud, of Mc- Donough spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Gilmore. Mrs. C. E. Hatfield and son, Ellis, and Miss Ethel Lassiter, of Mayo, Fla., are the charming guests of Mrs. L. E. Tomlinson.
