to Sweetbriar College, West Virginia,
to resume her school duties.
Prof. W. P. Martin went up to Lo
cust Grove to act as a judge in a de
bate at Locust Grove Institute.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gibson, of Flo
villa, were guests Sunday of Mrs. S.
H. Mays and Mrs. C. M. Compton.
Mrs. R. N. Etheridge leaves next
week to visit Mrs. H. D. Moore and
Mrs. M. T. Hodges in Lakeland, Fla.
Miss Bessie Compton, of Athens,
will spend Saturday and Sunday with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D.
Compton.
Mrs. Maurice Wright is visiting in
Savannah and Mr. Wright motored
to that city Thursday to accompany
her home.

to Atlanta.

Mrs. Carrie Dupree Smith motored
to Atlanta Sunday and spent the day
with her nephew, Harry Moore, a stu
dent at the State University.
