FLOVILLA MAY
VOTE FOR BONDS
Waterworks and Lights
Being Considered
TO HAVE MASS MEETING
r~
For the purpose of installing a sys
tem of electric lights and waterworks,
the citizens of Flovila will probably
soon issue a call for a bond election
to give the people there an opportu
nity to pass on the question. The
matter has been discussed for some
time and there is much interest in the
projected enterprise. A mass meeting
will be held within a few days, at
which time all phases of the matter
will be considered, facts and figures
furnished and a final decision made
regarding the proposed improvement.
It is likely that the issue will be
for some $25,000 or $30,000.
Such a step would be a tremendous
stride forward for Flovilla and would
stamp the citizens there as among the
most progressive and enterprising in
the whole state. The benefits of a
modem system of waterworks and
electric lights would mean untold
good to the people of that community,
find such an undertaking should have
the most substantial encouragement.
