'
Rev. T. J. Webb has received the
following letter from his son, James
A. Webb, who is a member of the
United States navy:
New Orleans, Sept., 1918.
My Dear Father:—No doubt but
what you will be surprised to hear
that I am again back in New Orleans.
I was given liberty to come to town
tonight, so I am at the Grunewald
hotel, the same place I was when I
wrote you last and before going on
board ship. Papa, I left the next day
after I mailed you my letter. I could
not tell you then where I was going
but now I have returned and will tell
you where I have been. We went to
San Juan, Porto Rico. We brought
back with us 1,600 men to work in
the United States, to help out the la
bor problem. I understand the ship
will return there after another load,
leaving Saturday.

ther and I took it in. Everything is
different from the These
men we are bringing from over there

Papa, we certainly went over some
rough sea but I am on one of the
best transports afloat and she did not
shake much. The sea is very blue

Papa, I would give anything to know
how you are feeling tonight. I see no
chance to get off the sea. You always
take good care of yourself and let me

I think we are going to Panama.
However, we never konw anything

I sure would be glad to be there with

Took Out Dreadful Soreness
When the kidneys are weakened or
overworked so that they fail to filter
and throw all impurities out of the
blood, the poison remains in the sys

writes: “Foley Kidney Pills are doing
me much good, both my kidneys and
the rheumatism. They took all the
