The soy bean can be grown suc
cessfully with corn and is becoming
a very popular crop in the Corn
Belt, as it can be hogged down and
helps to balance the ration of corn.
It can be grown on a wide range of
soils, but inoculation is necessary
when it is grown for the first time,
says the United States Department
of Agriculture. The hay from this,
crop conains a high per centage of
protien and is palatable. This plant
adds a great deal to the value of
silage when it is grown with silage
corn.

Covington. Ky.—“ During each ex

their were unfounded. After taking
Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription I had

in my opinion it is the very best thing a

ETHERIDGE hSMITH COMPANY
JACKSONs GA.
This is about best news that
has come out of Georgia in a long
time. Great good will come of this
mutual understanding and spirit of
co-operation between these two de
partments. The taxpayers were be
coming rather tired of this wrangle.
It is good to know that these two
great departments are to work hand
in hand for the uplift of Georgia.
Let us all hope that the buried
hatchet will never be resurrected.
