3 RULES
big help to BOWELS
What a iov to have the bowels move
like clockwork, every day! It’s easy,
if you mind these simple rules of a
famous old doctor:
1. Drink a big tumblerful of water
before breakfast, and several
times a day!
2. Get plenty of outdoor exercise
• without unduly fatiguing your
self.
3. Try for a bowel movement at
exactly the same hour every day.
Everyone’s bowels need help at
times, but the thing to use is Dr.
Caldwell’s Syrup Pepsin. You’ll get,
a thorough cleaning-out, and it won’t
leave your insides weak and watery.
This family doctor’s prescription is
just fresh laxative herbs, pure pepsin,
and other helpful ingredients that
couldn’t hurt a child. But how it
wakes up those lazy bowels 1 How
good .you feel with your system rid
of all that poisonous waste matter.

BEER SESSION IS
ALMOST CERTAIN
POLL OF LEGISLATURE IS BE
ING TAKEN. SESSION WILL BE
CALLED IF MAJORITY FAVORS
BEER BILL
An extra session of the Georgia,
legislature will be called to enact a
beer law, if a majority of the mem
bers of the house and senate favor
such a plan, it is stated in informed
circles.
A poll of the members of the leg
islature is now being taken, reports
show. The governor is said to look
with favor on the session, provided
at least 135 members of the house
and 35 members of the senate agree
in advance to vote for the beer leg
islation.
The funds arising from the tax on
beer would go to support of the com
mon schools and to pay Confederate
pensions, it is understood. Estimates
of the revenue under a beer law
would amount to from $250,000 to
$500,000 per year.
The session, if one is called, would
not last more than twelve it
is stated. The cost of such a session
would probably be paid by the state.
South Carolina and Tennessee
have enacted bills to legalize the sale
of beer and Georgia, it is pointed
out, should act to keep money from,
going to other states.
As soon as the present poll is com •
pleted a definite statement will be
made as to the extra session of the
• - • *> • - -
general assembly. *

BITTEN BY TARANTULA
DREADED POISON SPIDER HID
DEN IN BUNCH OF BANANAS
BITES SALESMAN. GIVEN
MEDICAL ATTENTION
Mr. Bernard O’Neal, salesman for
Paul Tyler & Company, is recovering
from a bite inflicted Tuesday by a
tarantula. The dreaded poison spider
was concealed in a bunch of bananas
and as Mr. O’Neal was serving a
customer and reached his hand in
the fruit the tarantula bit the index
finger of his right hand.
Mr. O’Neal stopped the flow of
blood in his finger and rushed to a
physician, who happened to be near.
He was given treatment and Wednes
day was able to return to work. He
was quite sick for sonie time and no
•ioubt prompt medical care saved his
life, as the bite of the tarantula is
said to be fatal.
On two other occasions tarantulas
have been found in bananas in Jack

Says Her Husband
Lost 16 Pounds
In 4 Weeks
“I have never found a medicine
that ‘peps’ you up like Kruschen
Salts and better still, leaves you
‘pepped up.’ I take it two or three
times a week—not to reduce but
merely to feel good and clean. My
husband took it to reduce, he lost
16 pounds in 4 weeks.” Mrs. E. A.
Ferris, Washington, D. C. (Decem
ber 29, 1932.)
To lose fat and at the same time
gain in physical attractiveness and
feel spirited and youthful take one
half teaspoonful of Kruschen in a
glass of hot water before breakfast
every morning.
A jar that lasts 4 weeks costs but
a trifle at any drugstore in the world
but be sure and get Kruschen Salts
the SAFE way to reduce wide hips,
prominent front and double chin and
again feel the joy of living—money
back if dissatisfied after the first
jar.
