IT’S UP TO YOU
IT’S UP TO YOU
j Ihe game of life ia up to you,
There s no one else can play it.
If to yourself you would be true,
Find very rale—obey it.
Ther.e is no short cut to success;
All such are but delusion.
‘The only way’s hard work, no less;
"All else is but confusion.
The game of life is up to you,
Your race—none else can win it.
But you must keep your goal in view.
And struggle every minute.
The heights are not by weaklings
won,
No sluggard wins the races
It takes the strong the race to run
Si the higher places.
ie of life is up to you,
Malone are master;
t’Ut if you keep the goal in view,
travel fast and faster.
I Twt-e not alone in life’s swift race;
tonie others swift and cunning,
Ind if you win the topmost place
toil’ll have to get to running.
