Wide Reader Interest Shown In Home
Paper As Many Rate The Honor Roll
The Progress-Argus is grateful to
subscribers, old and new, for the
remarkable display of reader inter
est shown during the last few days.
Many subscribers availed them
selves of the opportunity to renew

and added to the list are many new
readers.
Full time is being put in these
strenuous war days trying to col
lect and assort the news of commu
nity and state and national interest
and present it in readable form.
Judging by the manner in which
subscribers have shown their confi
dence this policy in meeting with
general approval.
To all who rate the honor roll this
week the paper is sincerely grateful.

something to bust your sides about.
Claire Dodd adds the romantic touch
and Dick Foran is a petty officer
that you’ll like. “In the Navy” is
definitely in the laugh groove.
Rosalind Russell, Brian Ahcrne
and Virginia Bruce form another of
those secretary-fiancee combinations
that will leave you so confused with
laughter that you’ll find trouble in
keeping the characters in their prop

secretary and Miss Bruce as his fi~

faced with two lovely creatures, nei
their of whom would stop short of
murder to win his graces. Robert’
