Birthday, Ladies
Night Celebration
Al a gala anniversary-ladles night
meeting Tuesday night, member* of
the J ark non Kiwani* Club celebrated
their 35th anniversary and heard a
brilliant address from Ftev. Frank
Prince, pastor of the Covington
Methodist Church.
In a sparkling speech sprinkled
with humor, Rev. Prince told the
(•jiifr that peace of mind is an im;
possible achievement in today's
complex world, at least for those
who are still sane.
He suggested substituting faith in
Cod as a creed to live by, as the only
means of finding any peace of se
curity here on earth.
Rev. Prince was presented by Lt.
Gov. Harry Pall of the 12th Division,
who was program chairman for the
-evening.
Among the visitors welcomed were
Mrs. O. Willingham and Key Club
bers Charles Brooks and Fred Ham-
