Farmers Can Get
FHA Loans For
Farm Improvement
A line of credit now available from
the Farmers Home Administration
hould help a good many farm own
ers in this area improve or build
farm buildings, including houses, or
provide water for household or farm
stead use, for themselves or their
tenants.
That is the belief of Rolfe H- Bur
ford, Chairman of the Farmers Home
Adtttatetration committee in Butts
County.
Burford’s committee reviews ap
plication for all loans made by the
Farmers Home Administration and
helps the county supervisor adapt the
agency’s program to local farmers’
needs. Burford said that quite a
few farmers in this area have applied
for farm housing loans in the past
seven months, and interest in this
type of credit is increasing. Through
out the nation approximately 1,700
loans for $10,600,000 have been I
