Buried Friday
At Fellowship
Funeral services for Mr. Mich
ael Francis Day of Route 4,
Jackson, were conducted Friday
afternoon at 2 o’clock from Mc-
Donald’s Chapel in Griffin with
the Rev. Marvin Randolph, pas
tor of the Jackson and Fellow
ship Presbyterian Churches, of
ficiating.
Mr. O’Day died Wednesday in
the Griffin-Spalding County Hos
pital following a brief critical ill
ness and a longer period of de
clining health. Mr. O’Day was
born in Arizona but had lived in
Butts County for nine years. Prior
to moving here he had resided in
Griffin for 11 years. He attended
the Fellowship Pres byterian
Church in Butts County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Louise Martin O’Day; half bro
ther, Ken McGlone of Ila.
McDonald’s Funeral Home of
Griffin was in charge of arrange
ments.

She is three years old and very

and Sunday School almost every

old, so Aunt Cissy is writing for
me. I was too little to remember
last Christmas, but I am looking
forward to this one. I have learn
ed to walk and talk since you
came last year, and have tried to

bring him anew baby bed, some
squeak toys, and socks. Bring me
a table and chairs, tea set, toy
broom, blocks, telephone, pull
dog, cowboy boots, knock-a-peg
and socks. Don’t forget Mommy
and Daddy, my grandmother and
aunts and uncles in Jackson and
my grandmother and granddaddy
in Italy. Be good to other boys
and girls. I live in Savannah, Ga.,
