elect, was honoree at a lovely
shower-tea on Saturday, Novem
ber 29th, at the Jackson Club
house tendered by Mrs. Danny
Blue, Mrs. Grover McKibben, Jr.,
Mrs. Van Hay, Mrs. Chester Ev
ans, and Mrs. J. L. Whidby.
A color scheme of yellow and
green was carried out in the deco
rations. A compote candelabra
with yellow tapers held a beauti
ful arrangement of yellow snaps,
glads, carnations and mums.
The table at which the guest
book was kept held a silver can
delabra with white tapers, com
plemented by lilies of the valley
and ribbon.
Mrs. Donna M. Lindsey and
Miss Kay Whidby served refresh
ments.
