Lions To
Offer Free
Dogwoods
Free Dogwood trees will be
made available to the public
through the generosity of the
Butts County Lions Club Satur
day, January 17th, at the C&S
Bank parking lot between the
hours of 9 a. m. and 5 p. m.
Lions Club President Carl
Brack said that the donation of
the Dogwood trees is an annual
project of the club and is in co
operation with the “Make Georgia
Beautiful” project which is ob
served each January.
Mr. Brack said that it is the
hope of the club that by limiting
the trees to no more than two to
a family, there will be enough
to last through the day so that
each person or family may ob
tain their Dogwood trees to be
planted in an effort to beautify
Georgia and this community.
