A POTATO SWAN?
RANDY COOK HAS ONE!
Sweet potatoes are not
uncommon for this time of year
but the Billy Cook family has
grown a potato which exceeds
others in this area.
Randy Cook, nine-year-old
son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Cook,
proudly displayed at the
Progress-Argus office last
Wednesday a sweet potato
grown in his father’s garden
which was shaped in the form
of a swan. Randy stated his
father has a number of vines
with potatoes but that this was
the only one thus far dug
formed into an odd shape.
