Kimbell Association To Have World Mission Conference

Baptist missionaries from
state, home, and foreign
mission boards with the
missionaries speaking at
various churches of the
association on the evenings
of September 11-12-13-14 and
Flovilla Happenings

sang at The Rock Baptist
Church in Jenkinsburg on
Saturday night.

spent Friday in Thomaston
with Mrs. W. O. Elliott.

Anthony, and Mr. and Mrs.
Dewey Lassiter and family
attended a birthday dinner
on Sunday for Mr. Lassiter’s
grandmother, Mrs. Lizzie
Anthony, who was 87 years
old.
Mr. John Funderburk of
Valdosta was the weekend
guest of his grandmother,
Mrs. Carl Funderburk, and
Mrs. Vivian Hightower.
Sunday guests were Mr. Cliff
Funderburk and Mr. Carl
Funderburk.
Mrs. W. D. Haynes left via
plane Saturday for Houston,
Texas, where she will be
visiting her daughter, Mrs.
Virginia Vestal, for two
weeks.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Paul
James, Sr. on Sunday
afternoon were Mrs. Ruby
Singley and Miss Doris
Singley of Jackson.
Mrs. Elsma Smith of
Jackson visited Miss Fredna
Hilley on Wednesday after
noon.
Mr. and Mrs. Pope
Moncrief spent Sunday with
their mother, Mrs. Winnie
Moncrief. Visiting in the
afternoon were Mrs. Alice
Peurifoy of Monticello and
Mrs. Elizabeth Moore.
Miss Barbara McKenna of
Birmingham, Alabama is
visiting with her sister, Mrs.
Larry Marsh and family.
The Marsh family attended
the football game at the
Piedmont Academy in Mon
ticello on Friday night.
Robert Marsh attended the
4-H cookout Saturday night
at the Butts County Recrea
tion Center in Jackson.
