COMMON DISHWASHER
PROBLEMS
A dishwasher cannot do its
job effectively if you don’t do
your part too. There is no
need to rinse or prewash but
you must load correctly, use
recommended products and
water temperature.
Some of the common
problems and probable
causes are as follows:
Spotting Water not hot
enough; improper loading;
too little detergent; hard
water. Specks lmproper
loading; old, caked deter
gent; food particles under
edge of door; screen or filter
needs cleaning. Dishes not
dry Water not hot enough;
improper loading. Metal
ware discolored or pitted
undissolved detergent, be
cause articles placed too
near detergent cup; prolong
ed contact of articles with
foods containing salt, vine
gar, milk products or fruit
juices.
Most dishwashers pro
blems can be prevented by
correct loading, water 140
degrees to 160 degrees and
using the correct amount of
free-flowing detergent.

We want to thank the many
