A BIG CATCH FOR THE LITTLE LADY Mrs. Henry
Fuqua, “angler supreme” reeled in a 19y 2 lbs. catfish
(pictured above, held by Jimmy Tomlin) last Thursday
afternoon around 1:30 p.m. Fishing between the river bridge
and the dam on the Ocmulgee River, with a spinner, and a no.
4 hook baited with Louisiana pinks, she was all alone when
she pulled the monster in. Jimmy Tomlin said that Mrs.
Fuqua bought her bait from him around 1:00 p.m. and
returned with finned trophy in less than half an hour. Jimmy
put the catfish in a water tank in his bait shop for viewing by

THE STORY MACHINE Henderson Elementary School students rehearse for their
presentation of “The Story Machine.” Two performances of the play were held November 11.
and 12 and a third is scheduled for November 13 at 1:45 p.m. in the Henderson Elementary
School Cafetorium. A fourth performance for the public is scheduled for November 14 at 7:30
p.m. at the cafetorium.
Winter Quarter
Registration
On November 13, 1975
students at Jackson High
School will register for
classes for the winter
quarter. Students have al
ready pre-registered, select
ing their courses with
teacher recommendations.
On the day of registration,
seniors and juniors will be
permitted to register first.
Ninth and tenth graders will
then be registered.
Students will be allowed to
leave school after completion
of registration. However,
each student must return to
the school a letter signed by
parents, giving permission
for him to leave the school
campus. Students not return
ing a signed statement will
not be permitted to leave
school early.
A movie will be provided
for ninth and tenth graders in
the school auditorium during
the time that upper classmen
are registering. The admis
sion fee for the movie will be
50 cents per student. Those
students not having admis
sion fee for the movie will be
assigned to a study hall.
During the week of October
27, 1975, each student was
allowed time to pre-register
for courses. Those students
